Facebook Pixel can track two types of conversions: standard and custom events.
What are standard events?
Standard events allow you to build audiences as well as track and optimize conversions.
If you want to use them, you have to copy each of their codes and modify your Facebook Pixel code.
You can track conversions such as:
- Viewing content.
- Searching.
- Adding to cart.
- Adding to wishlist.
- Adding payment info.
- Initiating checkout.
- Making purchase.
- Lead.
- Completing registration.
What are custom events?
Custom events are events not covered by standard events, or those that are customized by modifying standard events (for example ‘Getting to Thank You Page’ or ’Checking Collaboration tab’)
