As of 2021, Sotrender can analyze four major social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. We’ll quickly break down some of the information that you’ll be able to acquire using Sotrender.
You can connect your Facebook Page(s) to your Sotrender account pretty easily. Whether you have a single Page that you run on your own or as a company, or if you work for an agency and manage multiple profiles. It’s also possible to even find a country or region-specific Page and include it in the application. Just copy and paste the URL from the region-specific Page and you’re good to go!
The information that you will be able to get from Sotrender about your Facebook performance includes, but is not limited to:
- audience demographics
- engagement (with custom Sotrender metrics like the Interactivity Index)
- reach (organic and paid)
- content (categories and top-performing)
We understand the importance of benchmarking your results. You can add different competitors’ profiles to compare their social media activity to your own. Although you won’t be able to see all of their metrics because you don’t have access to their Insights profile, you will still be able to compare metrics that are publicly visible. These usually include likes, reactions, and anything that is publicly available in Facebook’s API.
However, Sotrender doesn’t just analyze your Facebook Page’s performance. Connecting your Facebook Pages to Sotrender’s social inbox feature means that your community management and social customer service will only get better. This feature utilizes AI models to detect social sentiment of users’ comments on any of your posts (yes, really, both your organic and sponsored content).
In general, it saves you a great deal of time and effort.
Since Facebook owns Instagram, it’s pretty easy to pull data from there.
Just like your Facebook Insights, you’ll be able to see data from your Instagram Insights imported, reimagined, and analyzed some more in Sotrender. You also get to see the Activity Index, which is just the Interactivity Index but recalculated for Instagram interactions.
The limitation here is that Instagram’s API doesn’t let you see your competition’s performance. For that, you’d have to order a custom-tailored report that would analyze what your competitors have been up to in a more sophisticated way. Sotrender’s AI team offers this type of report if that’s something you’re looking for.
Twitter is another social media platform that you can analyze in Sotrender. Since Twitter’s metrics are publicly available, you can compare your own profile to multiple other profiles across the board. For example, you can compare your company’s and your competitor’s follower growth, brand activities, and engaged users over time on the same graph. It’s really not as difficult as it looks!
Finally since the graphs are interactive, you’ll always know which tweets performed better or worse on a given day.
YouTube
You might remember that a few years ago, YouTube decided to tighten access to data. Since then, YouTube has made it clear that if anyone wants to analyze their data over long periods of time, they can only do that through their own platform. We provide our users with their YouTube data on a daily basis, however.
